DelDOT Held Public Workshop on Relocation of Park Avenue (U.S. 9 Truck Bypass)
Georgetown (Oct. 18) – Park Avenue, also known as US Route 9 Truck Bypass, is a designated truck route for tractor trailers moving through the Georgetown area. DelDOT’s plans are for the truck bypass to be upgraded with appropriate turn lanes, shoulders, and intersection improvements. Roadside improvements will be made throughout the project limits.

New Traffic Pattern for Barratts Chapel Road
Frederica (Oct. 5) — As part of the on-going SR 1, Little Heaven Grade Separated Intersection Project, there will be a new traffic pattern on Barratts Chapel Road at SR 1 southbound, beginning on Monday, October 9. This new traffic pattern near Frederica will be permanent.
Northbound I-95 Traffic Reduced to One Lane Oct. 8
Wilmington (Oct. 4) — Starting Sunday Evening October 8, construction will begin on the northbound I-95 bridge over Talley Road according to a news release from DelDOT. This location is between US 202 and Marsh Road.
